Day 1 Yangon / Arrival

In the morning arrive at Yangon International Airport. Meet with your guide and transfer to hotel for check-in. Then in the afternoon visit Yangon sightseeing including Chaukhtatkyi Pagoda, downtown area, Botahtaung pagoda and the most famous Shwedagon Pagoda. Overnight in Yangon.

Day 2 Yangon-Bagan

In the morning transfer to Yangon airport to take the flight to Bagan(appro:1:15 hours). On arrival transfer to hotel and check-in. And then start Bagan sightseeing included Nyaung.U market, Shwezigon pagoda, Gubyaukkyi temple, Htilominlo temple, Shwegugyi temple, Ananda temple. Lunch. In the afternoon visit the famous lacquer ware workshop. Then visit Manuha temple, Nanpapaya, Gubyaukkyi temple. Enjoy sunset from one high temple. Overnight in Bagan.

Day 3 Bagan-Mt.Popa-Bagan

After break drive to Phwa Saw village where you can see life of people. Most of the people live in Banboo house, making peanut oil, cows are eating, some girls carrying water, some goats running around…Then continue to Mt.Popa (about 1:15 hours). Mt.Popa is an extinct vocalno and also known as the home of 37 Myanmar Nats. Mt.Popa area is like the oasic in the dry region of Myanmar. On arrival of Mt.Popa we visit the shrine of 37 Nats. Then have to go up over 700 steps to reach the top of table-mountain. On the way back to Bagan, we can visit the farms beside the rode to see how to produce the brown sugar from palm juice, penut oil, seasam. Overnight in Bagan.

Day 4 Bagan-Monywa

After breakfast drive to Monywa (appr: 3 ½ hours). Monywa is the main commercial and the biggest town in the North-west of Myanmar and connect with India border. On the way to monywa, visit Maule village and can see the life of local people. You will see the villagers are very friendly, hospitable. Bamboo toys, incense sticks making and weaving are some of the main professions. Around Monywa we can visit Alantayar Buddha images, the huge standing buddha image (600 feet height), and reclining buddha image of 450 feet long. Then visit famous Than Buddhe temple which has about 600,000 Buddha images. Overnight in Monywa.

Day 5 Monywa-Sagaing-Mandalay

After breakfast drive to Monywa market where you can see different kinds of local products of middle country and also some from India border. Take photos around market and then continue to Sagaing, one ancient capital site before Mandalay in 13th century. There are hundreds of meditation centers, monasteries and nunaries around Sagaing hill.In Sagaing visit Kaunghmutaw pagoda, Umin Thonese Pagodas, Ponnyashin Pagpda at the top of Sagaing Hill. Drive to Mandalay and overnight.

Day 6 Mandalay-Amarapura-Ava-Mandalay

After breakfast drive to Amarapura and visit famous U Pein bridge, Mahagandaryon Monastery, famous silk weaving factory. Then visit to Ava, another ancient palace site before Amarapura. Now Ava is just a small village and you can see very nice ancient pagodas and the teak wood monastery from 18th century. In the afternoon back to Mandalay and visit including Shwenanday monastery,Kuthoday pagoda, Atumashi monastery,Mandalay Hill. Overnight in Mandalay.

Day 7 Mandalay-Heho-Pindaya-Kalaw

In the morning drive to Mandalay airport to take the flight to Heho. From heho drive to Pindaya (appro:1 ½ hours). The landscape from Kalaw to Pindaya is very nice. Beside of the road, there are different colours of plantations like the gallery of Shan Hills. In Pindaya, visit famous pindaya cave which is famous for its over 8000 old buddha images inside. In the afternoon drive to Kalaw. Overnight at Kalaw.

Day 8 Kalaw

After breakfast start trek (about 2 hours) to visit tribe village. On the way you will see beautiful plantations of oranges, tea, avogados, chili, and etc. On the village you can enjoy the life of tribe people how they live, work. Afternoon back to Kalaw and leisure. Overnight at kalaw.

Day 9 Kalaw-Inle Lake

After breakfast drive to Inle lake (about 2 ½ hour). Visit in Inle lake including famous Phaung Daw Oo Pagoda, floating gardens, Ywa Ma village where we can see some long necked tribe people from other region, paper umbrella making, Inn Paw Knone Village where can see the silk and cotton weaving. Famous Nga Phae Chaung monastery, one of the old monasteries around Inle Lake and now like museum of old Buddha alters. Overnight in Inle Lake.

Day 10 Inle-Indein-Inle

In the morning take the boat to visit the market day village. In Inle lake region market day is every five day.Not everyday in one village. Market day is interesting, can see different varieties of real local products, alive fish, barber shops, black smith shop and etc….. Then go to Indein pagodas, thousands of ancient pagodas beside of the hill and those were lost in jungle for centuries. Overnight in Inle Lake.

Day 11 Inle-Yangon

In the morning transfer to Heho airport to take the flight back to Yangon. On arrival, visit famous Bogyoke market, in the evening visit downtown area, Yangon jetty, Kandawgyi park. Overnight in Yangon.

Day 12 Yangon/departure

In the morning transfer to Yangon airport to take the departure flight.

Day 1 Yangon / Arrival

Day 3 Yangon-Bagan

After breakfast drive to Mindat, Chin state is on the west of Myanmar and most of the area on mountain ranges. Also border with India and Bengladesh. One of the most primitive area with full of untouch natural beauties. The whole state is decorated with hazy thick forest, pine trees, rare orchids plants stuck on here and there, taungzalat which is reddish and yellowish chin national flowers spread around, notable for nameless birds & endemic bird of species persuade bird watching travelers. Evening arrive Mindat. Overnight.

Day 6 Mindat-Chin Villages

After breakfast start to visit chin tribe Kyardo Village. It is one of the amazing villages and there are many tattooed faced women. They are one of the Chin nation but they have different custom and believe system. Then visit another village.

Day 7 Mindat-Bagan

After breakfast, drive through mountain range for 4 hours. This area is very famous among archaeologist because of recent excavation findings with proof of people older than those found in the Middle East. Discovered were fragments of animals such as turtle, crocodile, rhinoceros and pig in stone layers. Also recorded have been fossilized remains of leaves thought to be about 34 to 50 million years old. In the evening, arrive at Bagan. Overnight at Bagan.

Day 8 Bagan-Mandalay-Amarapura-Ava-Sagaing-Mandalay

After breakfast drive to Amarapura and visit famous U Pein bridge, Mahagandaryon Monastery, famous silk weaving factory. Then drive to Sagaing (about 25minutes), one ancient capital site before Mandalay in 13th century. There are hundreds of meditation centers, monasteries and nunaries around Sagaing hill. In Sagaing visit Umin Thonese Pagodas, Ponnyashin Pagpda at the top of Sagaing Hill. We can visit also the silver smith workshop. In the afternoon back to Mandalay and visit including Shwenandaw monastery,Kuthoday pagoda, Atumashi monastery,Mandalay Hill. Overnight in Mandalay.

Day 9 Mandalay-Mingun-Mandalay

In the morning drive to jetty to take the boat trip to Mingun (appr:1 hour). On arrival Mingun, visit Mingun Pagoda, Mingun bell, the biggest ringing bell of the world, Myatheintan pagoda. Then take boat back to Mandalay. In the afternoon visit Mahamuni Buddha image, the most famous Buddha of Mandalay and people believe that Buddha image alive. Zaycho market. Overnight in Mandalay.

Day 10 Mandalay-Heho-Inle lake

After breakfast drive to Mandalay airport to take the flight to Heho (appr:20 minutes). Day 12 Inle-Kyaing Tong

In the morning transfer to Heho airport to take the flight to Kyaing Tong (appr:45 minutes). Kyaing Tong is the capital of Eastern Shan area and also the capital city of the Golden Triangle region. Upon arrival transfer to hotel. Then visit Maha Myat Muni Pagoda, housing Mandalay style Buddha image and near by a monastery where the monks learn “Khun” language, which is very similar to that used in the Northern Thailand. Proceed to the Shan lacquer ware making home industry to learn embossing method lacquer ware making. Evening visit around famous Naung Tong lake. Overnight at Hotel.

Day 13 Trekking to Akha (Hokyin villages)

In the morning take the boat to visit the market day village. In Inle lake region market day is every five day.Not everyday in one village. Market day is interesting, can see different varieties of real local products, alive fish, barber shops, black smith shop and etc….. Then go to Indein pagodas, thousands of ancient pagodas beside of the hill and those were lost in jungle for centuries. Overnight in Inle Lake.

Day 14 Kyaing Tong – Pin Tauk (Akha & Ann Tribe) – Kyaing Tong

After breakfast start hiking tour into the Pin Tauk area. Lush mixed monsoon forest with a view to the plain rice fields looking like a huge, green patchwork blanket shimmering in the water of the flooded paddy fields. Your local guide will introduce you to the villagers of Aka and An tribes. Some are baptized, some tribes still animists. Ann people, known to be the kindest tribe, as there is no case up to nowadays where an Ann member has ever been violent. It will take about 6 hours to visit the villages, including visits of the houses. Late afternoon come back to Kyaing Tong and overnight.

Day 15 Kyaing Tong-Yangon

In the morning visit Kyaing Tong market offering a mixture of local products, handicraft wares of the tribal folk and merchandise from Thailand and China, Wat In Monastery, Lone tree hill to see the view of the town. Then transfer to Kyaing Tong airport for your flight back to Yangon.

Day 16 Yangon/dep

In the morning transfer to Yangon airport to take the departure flight. Happy Myanmar Travel!

Day  1 Yangon / Arrival

Day  2 Yangon-Kyaikhtiyo (Golden Rock)

After breakfast drive to Kyaikhtiyo (appro: 4 hours). On the way visit Htaukkyant cemetery, it has 27,000 tombstones of Allied soldiers who lost their lives in Myanmar during the World War II. Afternoon arrive the Kimpun base camp and take the open truck to go up till Hermit Hill. From Hermit Hill we have to walk up about 1 hour to reach the Kyaikhtiyo Pagoda. Kyaikhtiyo, mystical pagoda stands on a gold gilded boulder, precariously perched on the edge of the hill over 1100 km above sea –level. Overnight at Hotel.

Day  3 Kyaikhtiyo-Bago-Yangon

After breakfast take the truck to go down to base camp. From base camp drive back to Bago, an ancient capital of Mon Kingdom in 15th century. Visit Shwe-tha-lyaung reclining Buddha(55 meters long), Shwe maw daw Pagoda, Hinthagone pagoda, 28 metre high huge Buddha image of Kyaikpun pagoda. In the evening drive back to Yangon. Overnignt in Yangon.

Day  4 Yangon-Bagan

After breakfast drive to Pyinoolwin (appro:1 ½ hours), was a nice small town and popular hill station during colonial time. Over 1000 meters above sea-level, well-known for its colonial-style houses with large compound and pine trees, eucalyptus and silver-oak abound in town. Visit Famous Botanical garden, Pwe Kauk waterfall, old Station, Pyinoolwin market. Afternoon drive back to Mandalay and overnight in Mandalay.

Day 9 Mandalay-Heho-Inle Lake
